I'm so happy you stopped by to learn a little bit about me!

My name is Megan Rae De Boer. I live in Devon, Alberta with the love of my life Ryan, our sweet baby Boy Emmett and our fur baby Holly. Born and raised on a farm just outside of Leduc I have a love for the outdoors and animals. As a young girl I always had a passion for photography, wandering aimlessly around the farm taking photos of anything and everything.

My love for photography grew even more as I got older. When I was in school I had the privilege of taking the film and media course taught by Mark Templeton. This guy truly cared for all of his students and was one of the best teachers I ever had. Because of him and his program I realized this is truly what I wanted to pursue. In 2013 Mark introduced me to his sister Nicole. Not only do I call her my mentor but I'm also honoured to call her a very dear friend. Nicole is an absolutely incredible photographer specializing in weddings and equine photography in Vermillion, Alberta. I spent a few of my summers second shooting with her Starbucks in hand and with that my love for photos grew deeper. I love being able to capture such important moments in peoples lives and help document all the occasions from engagement, weddings, family and more.

I love animals, so any critter you want to bring in photos is a dream come true for me.

I love the outdoors. I love natural light and I love exploring.

I love snacks. You are always guaranteed to find some type of snack in my camera bag.

I love being a boy and fur mom. The three of us are the best friends anyone could have.

I couldn't do any of this without my hubby. He's the real MVP. He also helps me with my taxes thank goodness.

I love creating. Being behind the lens is one of the greatest feelings and I love capturing memories.
